Sheepskin slippers from the New Zealand Nature Company are the finest sheepskin slippers available. We make sheepskin slippers, sheepskin boots, sheepskin clogs, and moccasins. Made with 5/8 inch shearling sheepskin (called lambskin in Australia even though the sheep is 4 years old). The sheepskin in our sheepskin slippers will absorb water unless sprayed with a waterproof spray. Always remember that the breathability of our natural sheepskin slippers will be lost if you spray them with a waterproofing agent. It is okay to get the sheepskin slippers wet as your feet will still stay warm. You can spray the sheepskin slippers with waterproofing like you can any other leather products, just please be aware that to gain the waterproofing, you sacrifice the natural breathable quality of the sheepskin slippers.

You can wear your sheepskin slippers with or without socks. Please wear wool socks though, like our Milford Merino Wool Socks. Woolen socks will not effect the breathability of your sheepskin slippers - just enjoy!

Washing your sheepskin slippers

To wash your sheepskin slippers, use a mild soap and a brush or cloth. Rinse them off and keep the sheepskin slippers inside away from the heat while drying.

Sheepskin slippers sizing

All sheepskin slippers will feel snug and almost too tight to start with. Remember our sheepskin slippers are a natural and breathable leather product that will stretch out over a couple of days. If you know your shoe size and tell us, there should be no problem fitting your sheepskin slippers. Please follow the instructions on the order form, but if not sure just tell us what size you are in the comments section. Our sheepskin slippers only come in whole number sizes not half sizes, so if you are a half size (say 8 1/2) then go for the nine. When in our shop you will see that sizes relate to your location. For USA shop for instance, you will see all sizes are USA sizes. In the UK shop - sizes are UK sizes. Its easy to see once you get into the actual shop.;

Our sheepskin slippers have removable and replaceable insoles that are custom made for each sheepskin slippers size. Easy and inexpensive replacements will extend the life of your sheepskin slippers. You can take the inner sole out and wash it without having to wash the entire sheepskin slipper. You can replace the inner sole when they wear out, making your slippers last longer.
